Advanced Passenger Information System (APIS) is a reality for international air travel into the United States. With changing United States Customs & Border Protection (CBP) requirements it has become imperative to have accurate and complete detail for each passenger. TREK's APIS module provides accurate and intuitive 'forms' to ensure that all necessary information has been entered for all passengers requiring this level of documentation. This information is not required to be entered at the time a reservation is taken, but agents will be alerted if it hasn't been.

Alerts
Due to the strict requirements of the CBP various places throughout the application will display alerts if required information is missing for a passenger and agents are asked to enter the information or by pass the warnings.

APIS Passenger Manifest

An electronic format of the passenger manifest is created for each inbound international flight, either automatically through flight launch or manually. From within the APIS control center, each manifest can be reviewed and modified if necessary, before being queued into the TREK e-mail system. The APIS control centers offers a daily view of all flights requiring APIS transmission. Potentially late transmissions are color coded to alert the APIS manager that the information has not been sent to CBP.
